In Persian literature, Ramin or Rameen is the name of the titular character of the medieval Persian epic Vis and Rāmin written by the 11th-century poet Fakhruddin As'ad Gurgani (Persian: فخرالدين اسعد گرگانی), he versified the story of Vis and Rāmin, a story from the Arsacid period.
