Mahidevran Hatun (Ottoman Turkish: ماه دوران, c. 1495 – 3 February 1581; also known as Gülbahar) was a concubine of Suleiman the Magnificent of the Ottoman Empire and the mother of Şehzade Mustafa. After the death of Suleiman's other sons and his ascension to the throne in 1520 she acquired the rank of mother of the Sultan's eldest son.
